Meetings and Reports

R2R is intended to be a community-driven resource that will benefit multiple stakeholders, and community engagement is a critical component of the Program. R2R Team Members will engage the oceanographic community in many ways:

Operators:
• Regular presentations and breakout sessions at RVTEC
• Solicit input on aspects of the design and implementation with respect to shipboard operations
• Visit ships of all classes for direct interaction
• Operator Login on rvdata.us for verification of data inventory
• Routine communication through the RVTEC and R2R mail lists

Scientists:
• Regular presentations at major scientific conferences (e.g. AGU)
• Solicit input on the development of Quality Assessment procedures
• Chief Scientist Login on rvdata.us for confirmation of proprietary holds and data inventory
