R2R Event Logger testing - R/V Oceanus

A test version of the R2R Event Logger has been deployed on three UNOLS cruises -- OC462 (May 20-30 2010), OC467 (July 29-Aug 6 2010), and OC468-02 (Aug 21-Sep 16 2010). Plans are also underway to test it on an Endeavor cruise -- EN484 (Sep 22-Oct 1 2010). Feedback from scientists and shipboard technical staff are helping to further hone the design of the R2R Event Logger, the controlled vocabularies it employs, and the resulting R2R event log file specification.
