- Established reciprocal links to Data Centers including (BCO-DMO, MGDS, ASP-LDEO, SAMOS, IMLGS).
Cruise Cataloging and Data Archiving
- Cataloged 476 new cruises from 12 vessels. As of November 2010, all UNOLS vessels are now contributing to R2R.
- Based on feedback, a revised fleet-standard directory structure has been posted. Two operators have been identified to begin implementation (OSU, URI).
- Continued development of new 2.0 database schema and cruise data breakout workflow.
- Began design and implementation of an Operator Review page where the shipboard technicians can see list of known devices and collected filesets and verify that the cruise distribution received by R2R is complete.
- Posted download links to initial UHDAS ADCP datasets at NODC (cruise KM0812) and reviewed metadata with specialists.
Real-Time Data
- Receipt of real-time MET/TSG data began for Kilo Moana.
- NSF-supported vessels currently providing data via the SAMOS 1.0 email transfer protocol:

- All quality-controlled observations from vessels contributing to the SAMOS are available online.
R2R Event Logger
- Results of all event logger tests are now available online at elog.rvdata.us.
- The eventlogger controlled vocabulary (version 0.1) has been delivered to EU counterparts and we are in the process of arranging for a meeting on this topic at EGU.
